The Simplicity and Powerfulness of VBS

I really wanted to have a blog where I update fairly often. Obviously, that hasn't happened...yet. One day when I went to write a new post, the font was really funky and wouldn't work right. Anyway, now it works! I contribute that to using Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer.
Today was the last day of VBS. It was a tiring week, as always, but I'm always sad when it's done.
I love the songs! This year, Lifeway had a cowboy theme. It was super cute! I even dressed up as a cowgirl this week, and shhh...I liked it! I will definitely be taking a little part of West Texas with me to Arizona!
So yay! There it is! My first post back in "blog world!"

Overflowing

This weekend I went to my church's simulcast of the Beth Moore conference. A-mazing! Beth Moore always encourages me, and I love to hear her speak. She gets me excited about Jesus! I feel like I got a lot of "church" this weekend. It was awesome! Worship at the conference was awesome. Worship this morning was awesome both times! I feel I'm just overflowing with excitement about life! Thank you, Jesus! I love you!

Do I really Wanna Be Your Hands and Feet?

So last week, I had a humbling experience. It's amazing how God speaks through the small things in life...I was driving and the Newsboys song, Hands and Feet (don't know the actual title) came on..At the time I was a little whiny, because my hands hurt from peeling so many potatoes for the Texas Tech BSM 99 cent steak night. My feet were tired from being on them such a long time. Anyway, listening to the song and kinda complaining in my head, the thought came to me: Do I really wanna be His hands and feet? I say that I'll go where He sends, but then I complain when I get there? That doesn't sound right. Then, I was reminded of Jesus and his sacrifice and his hands and feet. I think mine, in comparison, was no pain at all!!! Talk about perspective!

My first blogspot blog :)

So, I decided I wanted to blog. I'm not sure why exactly. Before I started facebooking, I enjoyed blogging. That was when I first moved to AZ. Hmm. not sure why I stopped. Well, I am in Texas now. Yes, it is a whole different country here! However, I think I am getting used to the Texas way of things, especially the way Texas trucks "own" the road. I do want to give a shout out to this big farm machine tractor thing that I passed today. He moved over so the car in front of me and I could pass him. That was nice. Thank you very much, Mr. Farm Machine/Tractor driver :)
